Class details:
This facial massage class will include theory, anatomy of the bones and muscles of the head and neck (including my Latin Cheat Sheet), how to perform client intake for advanced facial massage, the importance of body mechanics and ergonomics, and then you will give and receive one hour of practice with another student with my supervision.
Lifting and sculpting moves include the scalp, face, neck, decolette, shoulders, arms, wrists, and hands. Moves are influenced by myofascial, Swedish, and therapeutic massage with techniques like effleurage, pettrissage, friction, and vibration. This class will also include an opening lymphatic sequence for the head and neck.
We will end with Q&A and group photo. You will receive a high quality certificate, a copy of the 16-page handout, prototype of my first product, Joe Glow swag, and additional support from me via email as needed.
Joe Glow (Joseph R Field, OR LE #10245226, OR LMT #27996, NCBTMB AP #1001694) began his wellness career early, graduating from the Utah College of Massage Therapy at 19 and becoming a Paul Mitchell–trained Master Esthetician by 21. In 2024, he earned international recognition by winning First Place in Facial Massage at The Skin Games in Atlanta. He claimed the title again in 2025, this time blindfolded and also won First Place in Swedish Massage at the 2025 Oregon Massage Championship. Having worked in spas across Park City, rural North Carolina, and the Oregon Coast, Joe now practices in Brownsville, Oregon, where he offers massage therapy and his Signature Joe Glow Facial. He also teaches hands-on Facial Massage Classes nationwide and has launched his long-awaited online facial massage course.

Eligibility Requirements:
This class is only available to Licensed Estheticians and Licensed Massage Therapists. By signing up, you confirm that you are either a Licensed Esthetician or Licensed Massage Therapist. Licensed cosmetologists may attend if in a state that allows them to practice skincare. Student estheticians, massage therapists, or cosmetologists may attend if more than 50% completed with school.
It is up to the student to confirm that information provided in this course is within their scope of practice as defined by law. It is also up to the student to know what continuing education courses are accepted by the state that their license is issued from. By enrolling in this course, you understand that no Florida or NY CE will be issued for this class. This course is only approved through:

Class Participation:
A massage table and massage oil will be provided, but you are responsible for bringing a sheet set and blanket.
By attending, you consent to giving and receiving massages/product applications on the face, scalp, neck, décolleté, shoulders, arms, and hands. PLEASE DO NOT RECEIVE ANY ADVANCED SKINCARE TREATMENTS 30 DAYS BEFORE THIS CLASS!
This class will have 12 students (6 pairs max)
Refund and Transfer Policy:
No refunds will be issued.
Tickets may be transferred to another student if needed.
You must attend the class in full to receive certificate and CE.
No-Show Fee:
Please note that if you fail to attend the class without prior notice, you will be charged a $299 no-show fee due to the partnership-based nature of the class. Please also note that any last minute rescheduling (even if an emergency) may result in your forfeiting any money paid due to the partnership-based nature of this class.
If you are unable to attend, please notify me as soon as possible to make alternate arrangements.
