IN THIS LESSON

Welcome to the Online Joe Glow Facial Massage Course!

I am so excited to have you. This course has been a labor of love for the last two years and I am so excited to be finally sharing it with you.

Please be sure to download the 16-page PDF in the next lesson. Please make sure you thoroughly watch/listen to all the videos, read all the text underneath the videos, and follow along in the handout. There is so much valuable information in this course and I wanted to do my best to present it in various ways to support all learning types. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me. You can find my email in the handout and in the text understand the very last video of this course.

We will go over theory of facial massage, advanced anatomy of the bones and muscles of the head and neck, how to perform a thorough client intake for advanced facial massage, the importance of body mechanics and ergonomics, warm ups, my award-winning massage moves for the scalp, face, neck, decollete, shoulders, arms, wrists, and hands, transition moves, and FAQs.

This course is designed to bridge the gap of information about facial anatomy that is frequently overlooked or rushed through during beauty and massage school. All levels are welcomed to take this course. It will ensure a solid base of understanding the facial anatomy and explain how that relates to each massage move. These moves will take your facial massage capabilities to an expert level.

There is about 70 minutes worth of video. I would recommend breaking it up into two 1-hour sessions by the time you watch all the videos and read all the text underneath and in the packet. Then I would plan to spend a few hours on top of that practicing the moves on someone with your computer nearby. Make sure you ask for feedback! Does it feel natural, supported, and intentional? Are you using enough pressure? In this course you will learn how to navigate all of these things. Let’s get started!
